Lake Carmel Event & MORE!

The Lake Carmel Fire Department LADIES DAY OUT Vendor Fair was a great turn out!

CASSANDRA FOX won the $10 Gift Certificate that was raffled off! CONGRATS 
Another vendor at this event shared some information about an upcoming baby event. Diaper Cakes by Madisen is hoping to become a vendor at this event. BUMP & BEYOND September 15, 2013 @ The Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel 12-4!!! This event is hosted by The Children's Medical Group. Make sure to MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

I enjoyed making these 3 cakes for 3 amazing parents-to-be! I am currently working on 4 more diaper cake orders that are a lot of fun! Can't wait to show pictures of these!! :)

Diaper Cakes by Madisen is different from all the rest. This is simply because we pay close attention to detail, use a boutique style roll for the diapers (this allows for complete perfection of the diapers after taken apart), no rubber bands or anything else that would harm the main part of the gift (THE DIAPERS), & we have a unique pull string under the decorated ribbon to allow for easy use of the diapers. :)

During the Maternity Fair 2013 at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center, I was asked to be interviewed. I said yes even though I was extremely nervous and above I have attached the link! I am the first interview once the reporter gets inside. :D

"The Art of Having a Baby"--Maternity Fair 2013

Diaper Cakes by Madisen participated in the Maternity Fair, May 5th 2013 at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center. This was an amazing event! Over 150 people attended last year and this year it was about 170 in attendance! News 12 aired coverage Sunday, WHUD spoke about it on the radio Monday & the video footage from the local team with the hospital is not yet on the Hudson Valley Hospital Center's website. I am anxiously waiting for this because I did an interview with them! :D

A $10.00 gift certificate was raffled off to a lucky winner during the event, hope to hear from you soon. I also had a drawing going on during the event, the winner of a FREE Diaper Cake by Madisen was (drum roll....) NICOLE WADE! CONGRATULATIONS!! I enjoyed speaking with every expecting mom and their family members about my business. I am very excited about all the potential clients that I came in contact with at this event. Hope to create a diaper cake for you this year! The Maternity Fair is an annual event and I can not wait to participate again next year!

A little bit about Madisen & Diaper Cakes by Madisen!

I am new to blogging so bear with me!

A little tidbit about me:
My name is Madisen Staskowicz and I am the creator & owner of Diaper Cakes by Madisen. I am a stay-at-home mom of a beautiful 2 year old boy named Dawson Tyler, a loving daughter, sister, and girlfriend. I am a full-time student with UMA, studying Medical Billing & Coding. I have a passion for creating diaper cakes that are unique, thoughtful and essential gifts for expecting moms, baby(s), and family.

A bit about Diaper Cakes by Madisen: Don't get me wrong, the idea of the diaper cake has been around a long time, but with Diaper Cakes by Madisen I have taken the idea and enhanced it. The one thing that makes my cakes unique is under all the pretty ribbon and design there is a string/ribbon that you can pull or cut to "unleash" the diapers. Using what is called the boutique style, all the diapers are flat and unharmed in anyway. All the diapers are 100% usable! I do not use anything like rubber bands that would be destructive to the main part of the gift, the diapers! I can create a diaper cake in all different sizes, themes, designs, etc... Diaper Cakes make GREAT gifts! Moms LOVE getting diapers, so why not give them in a new way? Baby showers are the main event that diaper cakes are given but I am here to spread the word and announce the many different occasions that you should give a diaper cake! A few special occasions that are great: Welcome home gift, Baptism/Christenings, 1st Birthdays, Holidays (My 1st...), Special times in the child's life-Potty Training, Eating solids...) The creations are endless!
